Tiger bells in Central Asia


Mongolia

Tiger bells are of the A type. On top of the object is a bronze mirror, toli, diameter appr. 9 cm.

The object is part of Marco Hadjidakis' vast collection of ethnographics. Apart from being a collector he is also an artist with a special interest in the role and function of mirrors in various cultures and religions.
